PMMA bi-layer acrylic is a technical sheet made up of two layers of different colors, designed for engraving, signage, and high-visibility signs. When the top layer is removed or engraved, the contrasting color of the core is revealed, resulting in a defined and durable finish.
Key features: durable, stable material with excellent visual contrast. Suitable for technical, industrial, and safety signage, especially where legibility and a professional finish are required.
Printing and finishing: It can be printed with UV inks or engraved in low or high relief using a CO₂ laser. Engraving allows for permanent and wear-resistant text, icons, or pictograms.
Recommended uses: electrical hazard signs, industrial signage, technical identifiers, machinery plates, electrical panels, workshops and areas where durable signage is required.
Specifications: Available thickness: 1.6 mm. Available colors: white/black, black/white, yellow/black, stainless steel/black, and gold/black. Other colors available upon request. Approximate durability: very high indoors and high outdoors in protected areas, especially in engraved applications where the information is integrated into the material itself.
