Photoluminescent vinyl
Photoluminescent vinyl is a self-adhesive film with pigments that absorb and emit light in the absence of illumination. It is suitable for indoor evacuation, safety, and wayfinding signage.
Main characteristics: Visible material in low light conditions, yellow in the presence of light and greenish in the dark. Offers good adhesion to smooth, clean, and non-porous surfaces.
Printing and finishing: allows direct UV digital printing with high adhesion and instant drying inks, preserving the photoluminescent functionality of the substrate.
Recommended uses: evacuation signs, emergency exits, safety routes, fire equipment, technical areas, stairs, corridors and spaces where visibility without light is required.
Specifications: Approximate base thickness: 0.35 mm. Estimated lifespan: 5–10 years indoors and 1–3 years outdoors in a protected environment. Luminescence measurement according to DIN 67510.
